Faldis is a scavenger from Devil's Crossing initially found in Lower Crossing. He volunteered to search the village for supplies, but was trapped in a house surrounded by rift scourges. In the Lost Survivor quest, the protagonist has the option of sending him home via riftgate.

Before the Grim Dawn, Faldis used to live in the Mud Row district of Burrwitch. He was a witness to the events of that night, and one of those few survivors who were hiding at the boarding house in Burrwitch before being rescued by John Bourbon.
As a member of Bourbon's group, Faldis survived the journey to Devil's Crossing through Wightmire. Some time after the survivors took control of the prison, Faldis volunteered to scavenge for supplies in Lower Crossing, thinking it was a safe mission, but he was trapped in a house by rift scourges. A certain formerly possessed human happened to explore the village as well, and after eliminating the rift scourges, opened a riftgate for Faldis to take him back to Devil's Crossing.[1] After that, Faldis vowed to never undertake such assignments again.

Creed will supply the Creed's Additive quest item on acceptance of the quest, and the Resistance Bomb is found on the bridge leading to the Crown Hill gates, past the Steelcap District and Malmouth Harbor. Place both items in the Demolition Site in front of the gates to enter Crown Hill, the Rift Gate can be acrivated. Mystery lake map the long dark 2019. Creed will appear nearby, speak to him for the reward.

| According to resistance intel, the main Aetherial force has walled themselves off in the Crown Hill district. The only way to access it is over the causeway through its massive front gates. Before the fall of their base, the resistance made a failed attempt to demolish the gates with an improvised explosive. Inquisitor Creed wants you to lead a renewed assault on Crown Hill. Recover the Resistance Bomb and use it to destroy the gate. Creed has also given you an additive that he claims will make the explosive more potent. Objectives:
